In 1994, CrossRoads Missions began taking groups of medical professionals to Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to conduct week-long medical mission clinics (brigadas medicas). Over the following 13 years, these trips greatly devloped in terms of participation as well as immediate effectiveness and outreach opportunity. The staff of CrossRoads decided to launch another ministry whose focus could be entirely on developing community health and therefore more effectively and sustainably use the short-term mission clinics. This ministry, as you would guess, is Mission Trinidad.
